The art of karate that you practice is more than punching, kicking, blocking and striking. It tells you when to do these things and when not to use it. To harm others or to win to boost the ego is not the real purpose of the art. The art of real karate-do comes from ancient knowledge of defence from India that is over 5000 years old. The most important aspect of this knowlege is that our development of character must be given top priority. Remember your real defence comes from intention. Good and bad intentions comes from what we are as a person. We must spend our time in self improvement as a person in terms of our character. Then our actions become good. If our actions are wicked then we suffer the consequences of our actions. If actions are good then in the end we become the real winners of life.

From time to time, ' Great teachers' have appeared on this planet for our benefit. They have given us the secrets of a better life. Instead many get their lives involved in things that continues to bring them misery. There is nothing greater than happiness. There is nothing wealthier than good health. There is nothing more fulfilling than doing what you enjoy best. There is nothing more sparking than sharing with others what they need to know. Let your everyday prayer be,
'Lord, help me to do all my duties with love.' Then all things you need will come a reality.

As it is said you cannot have a left without a right or a top without a bottom. In a similar sort of way you cannot have success without failures. We must always view failures as challenges. Everytime you get knocked down get up and make an effort to go forward. It is easy to stay down and give up. Life is not about giving up, it is about how many times you can get up and have a go. We are all winners by the virtue of fact that we are Spiritual beings on a human journey. Recognise this Truth and you cannot fail. Remember success is waiting for you, it is how much you need it that helps you achieve it.
