A teacher once said that if there are two trees standing side by side. One being a tree full of thorns and another full of fruit. It is the tree that is full of fruit that will have stones thrown at it. Such is life for it is those who do good work that will always have people throwing stones and saying nasty things. what people do not realise is that they only reflect what they are. Those who are spiritual will never be affected by demonic behaviour.

Practice karate only when you have control of yourself.
Teach it when you have no ego.
Learn it for its true essence.
Keep it sacred as its tradition will free you.

A student being expelled for bad conduct is the most dishonorable position to ever be in. A teacher’s heart will be broken when this happens, not because of the expulsion but that after much time of sharing knowledge to the student he/she had learnt nothing. So this student was never really a student but an enemy of him or herself. Karate-do has a main branch like that of a tree and that is right conduct. Practice karate only when you have control yourself. Teach it when you have no ego.

Praise and bless those who have harmed you, for it is them who teach you the greatest of all lessons.
