We often create stress for ourselves that is totally unnecessary. We concern ourselves with things like what others look like, what they are wearing, how they walk, talk, laugh etc. The bottom line is we do not control the lives of others nor do we pay their way in life. We need to constantly question ourselves, by us worrying about them is it going to make a difference to anything at all. In almost 100% of the time it has no effect. Each is an individual with their own destiny and life to lead whatever way they feel. Spend the energy in improving ourselves that what we do is not an irritation to others.

In life we are all tested at different times for many different reasons. This invariable builds up our human self into a spiritual being. Our greatest test is our reaction to others especially when their intension is to harm us. It is the human in us that is always in danger of falling victim to bad action. We often question is inaction or no reaction to wicked action a good thing or cowardly. My thoughts are is to do what we feel right at the time as long as a strong reaction does not come from a revenge.

The true art of karate depends on tradition for quality and embraces the modern for refinement, as long as it does not degenerate the human personality or spoil the skills of the art of self preservation.
